Senior Accountant Required in London

The role will entail taking responsibility for a varied client portfolio of OMBs with minimal supervision, managing the relationships with clients in a highly professional manner and being the first point of contact for client queries.
Whilst advertised as a Senior Accountant role, this is essentially a Client Manager position.
As Senior Accountant managing a portfolio of clients, your responsibilities will include:
Preparation and filing of limited company accounts in to accounting standards
Reviewing and signing off work completed by other team members
Preparation and filing corporation and personal tax returns, and VAT
Leading client meetings and providing commercially focused advice
Managing assignments from planning through to completion
Supporting and actively assisting in the development of junior team members
Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring deadlines are met
Working closely with the partners and wider management team

Be ACA or ACCA qualified
Have substantial post qualified experience gained within a UK accountancy practice
Thrive on working independently whilst maintaining strong collaboration and team working
Experienced in reviewing and signing off accounts
Be commercially aware and confident with providing business advisory services
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the confidence to lead client meetings
Have the desire and ability to nurture and support less experienced team members
