FULL TIME BAR SUPERVISOR

A new position has become available for a full time Bar Supervisor at the Hogarth Club.

The Bar Supervisor will support the Bar & Events Manager with the smooth operation of the Airedale Bar and Events.

Duties include:

Overseeing the operation of Bar & Restaurant
Presenting a Bar & Restaurant that is clean
Consulting with the Bar Manager
Designating tasks
Briefing the Bar Team
Liaising with the Head Chef and Team
Assist with planning of events/functions
Dealing with bookings for specific events
Managing events/functions as required
Comply with company policies and procedures as well as statutory regulations and food safety hygiene
Performing tasks in a timely manner
Completing various admin duties
Taking payments and making a record of payments

Training provided.

Requirements:

Computer Literacy
A good telephone manner
Ability to work under pressure
Ambitious and driven with a passion for excellence
Proven ability to work with a team and to follow instructions
Maintaining the high standards that our members and guests expect
Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and able to clearly demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

A friendly, pro-active and efficient manner are also key qualities required.

Desirable but not essential:

Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene
Previous experience in hospitality

Training provided.

Essential:

Good organisational skills
An enjoyment of entertaining

Candidates must be reliable, hardworking, with good interpersonal skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Hours: 40 hours per week – flexible.

Salary: Negotiable
