Role Description This is a full-time remote Hiab operator Driver role with SLC Group Site Support & Transport. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating trucks to transport goods between designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, unloading materials at delivery sites, and completing required logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. The driver communicates with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate pickups and deliveries, responds to changing road or weather conditions, and ensures that all safety procedures and company policies are followed. The role may involve regional or long-distance travel and requires consistent, reliable availability.

Qualifications

Possess strong truck operation skills, including Truck Driving and safe handling of Truck equipment.
Hold a valid hgv Class A license and maintain a clean driving record.
Demonstrate knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance-related procedures.
Be capable of Unloading freight safely and efficiently, including basic material handling.
Ability to follow instructions, plan routes, and manage time effectively.
Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and site personnel.
Physical ability to sit for extended periods, handle manual tasks related to loading/unloading, and work in varying weather conditions.
Previous experience as a professional truck driver or in commercial transportation is preferred.
